ThomasPowers Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 English, a good weight for a travel anvil---I'm assuming it's marked in CWT and so 3x28 + 3 = 87 pounds Any sign if the pritchel was drilled at a later time instead of punched when the anvil was made? (signs of a raised area around the bottom of the hole) There have been over 200 english anvil makers and so it would be hard to nail it down without more markings.
