Welcome to the crowd. Try your luck at horse a horse auction. Even though the main event is the sale of horses, there is always tailgaiting going on and you might find a farrier's anvil there. Ditto with tack sales. A second hand anvil will cost you less than new. If cost is no matter then pick up any equestrian magazine and you'll see several ads for brand new farrier's anvils. Being a college student a farrier's anvil would sure be easier to travel with. Good luck. Dan:)
