Does anyone know what is going on with Diamondback Ironworks? He put a holiday message up that he would be close from May 23^rd through May 29^th, the message is still there and he isn’t answering emails.

Dunno, he has not shipped anything or replied to repeated emails in months now. Was supposed to ship a re-liner kit, got a refund instead.

I finally caught up with Dennis, He has been have spam issues with his email and loosing things in the flood.

I just received a 2 burner blacksmith forge from him on the 12th after having called him on the 6th and placing an order over the phone. I did have issues ordering online because the site would not accept my email for some reason, I mentioned it to him on the phone and said he would look into it. Forge got here in good time even after he had to wait a day for a regulator to come in. Felt good to get it up and running right away.

That's the forge I plan on ordering in the next week or two, how are you liking it? where are in Maine are you? I'm a little north of Portland.

I really like it so far, Easy to set up and run. I'm just starting out with blacksmithing and making knives (only stock removal so far). I have only taken a beginner blacksmith class at New England School of Metalwork and loved it, I plan on taking more classes there when I'm done with school. I travel between Bangor and the midcoast for school and work

When did you take this class? I just took a class there as well.

It was the 4 day beginner blacksmith class taught by Dereck Glaser that they did this spring, not exactly sure on the dates
