After living with the rail I made them 9 yrs ago here in Alabama some old customers are wanting one for their new home in Az. It'll be level with with 1 step down. HWHII Posted May 26, 2013 Share Posted May 26, 2013 Arizona the codes are dictated by county building code and can be found on line for each county. 36" high top rail and no vertical spaces larger than 4" or below the bottom rail is pretty standard.
