Tyler2045
Where can I find a good hawk drift, or how can I make a good drift so that I can make a good hawk eye?
Rich Hale
If yoiu forge a wrapped head you can use mild steel for a drift, if you are going to slit and drift a head then you will need those tools, In the blacksmithing or tools section Brian Brazeal did a long thread about those tools. Maillemaker
Kayne and Sons has a cast iron one for around $35. I've probably made 15 wrap-and-weld hawks, and I cannot complain about the drift.
