samtheox
Hey folks, I've been lurking amongst the threads for about a year now, sighing wistfully at all the projects and tools people have been kind enough to share, hoping to some day try my hand at smithing. It has been something I've wanted to do every sense I was a wee little kid. Anywho, I'm in the military and for now, in the Alaska area. After much consideration and looking around through the near limitless amounts of scrap metal I come across, I've begun collecting the pieces I need for a brake drum forge. Hopefully I can get that assembled soon. For now, making chainmail has been keeping me content I suppose. I'm pretty new to actual metal working as well; just learned how to weld and use a plasma cutter the other day. I've already learned plenty here and look forward to learning so much more.
