wrenchbender
While I was out in southern Saskatchawan making an equipment delivery I saw this anvil sitting there. I went and negotiated with the manager and the anvil followed me home.Well it is at the shop tied to the back of my rig because I can't transfer it to my pick up truck be hand. It measures 26" end to end 4.5" wide and 10.5" high I will most deffinately post pics when I get it home on monday.

metal99
Why do you want to sell it?
DanielC
Why do you want to sell it? I hate assuming, but I would wager by his total post count, and all posts belonging to this thread, he is not interested in blacksmithy. He's basically getting opinions on the anvil, and looking to sell it at a reasonable price I would assume. Btw, nice anvil.

He's basically getting opinions on the anvil, and looking to sell it at a reasonable price I would assume. Btw, nice anvil. Correct I am not into blacksmithing. I am into machining and wood working. I would trade for equipment in either of those two fields. I do get access to properties that most people do not because of the nature of my joband from time to time I find things in the back of customer's properties that interests me and blacksmithing does interest me but i have too many other things on the go. the shop that i found this anvil at has a knee mill sitting in the back under a lean too and a price was given on it that is why i didn't want to say who the shop is. the mill will not leave my hands once i get it except for trading up in quality or size. frequently i am told it's not for sale and other times I'm headed in the wrong direction. edit. I do know my equipment and tools. I knew i had see what the stamping on the side of it was it could have been a total bust.
