There is an upcoming sale in my area and I am looking for any info and value of the anvil in the attached picture.

No idea on manufacutere or weight, it is listed as a small anvil"

All cast iron. Not for forging. These were bolted on tractors years ago and the farmer could straighten a bolt or what ever on it and keep working the field. Would make a cute plant stand for a small pot of flowers tho.

To a smith maybe as high as US$5---but the auctioneer will try to sell it as a mission critical antique highest quality *necessary* blacksmithing item.

Thanks for the info guys, I already cherish my HB and would never replace it. This just caught my eye in a uniqe sense.. I'll re post what it goes when it sells in August.
