Mephitus
http://www.ksl.com/i...lpid=12&search= I still havent had a chance to build any other part of my starter forge, but this seems like a deal that it would be hard to justify passing up. What do you guys think?
Jack Evers
Nice job. It would be extremely light - around 20 pounds, but at that price it would be worth it as a conversation piece or a door stop. Or perhaps a lightweight anvil would suit your purposes. My first one was homemade like that, but the basic stock was 3-1/2 wide by 2-1/2 thick. Still only about 40 pounds. CurlyGeorge
Hey, jump on it!! That would get you started until you can find a larger anvil. It is well worth the $20. :)
Jack Evers
Here's a pic of my first, much cruder than yours, shaped a lot of horseshoes and made me a significant amount of money.
Jack Evers
Didn't attach. Here's another try.
ThomasPowers
Handy little thing for light work or perhaps working on folding knives. Decent price. Did you get it?
