December 16, 201213 yr its a bull rake tooth the wooden rake pole was split so the steel would slide between the two parts and then bolt in place. the steel would last longer than the wood some had the dished out sides as this one does and some had a pocket in which the wood would slide into then the point was on top of that . I can get photos of mine if you need
