I've been looking for a website like this for a while. I live around the cedar Hill area in dallas county,Texas and would love to vist a blacksmiths shop. That is why I became a blacksmith...you can't stretch wood or weld any back on. Am sure you will find many new friends and people near you here. They have a blacksmith shop that is set in circa 1860, I volunteer there at times (plan to be there March 16 & 17). Check out the North Texas Blacksmith Assoc also North Texas Blacksmiths Association They meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at a different place. Some good, some better!
