I Forge Iron

This is the start of my forge. The body was a 4' propane tank I cut it in half. The refractory material was from an old glory hole my neighbor made and didn’t need and gave to me. The glory hole was made out of a 50 gallon barrel and I started cutting on that to make it smaller. I then decided to use the propane tank instead. So I have plenty of refractory material for this forge and any other projects in the future. I will make a pass-through in it. I plan on making it a 3 burner and that is where I’m at right now. I have two hamster cage fans if I ever want to build a forced air burner but I plan on building venture (naturally aspirated) burner. Need to make the first burner and do some testing to decide how I want to layout the rest of the forge.
All my tools need to be mobile so that I can store them so put them on wheels.
The other pics are some of the materials that I have collected over the years for FREE.
Here is my share of what I am doing!!
