I am just beginning to put my forge together, and it's been slow going. My father planted the seed of interest in smithing several years ago, and it has grown (my wife might say like a noxious weed). So, "GO for it". I wish you the best in perfecting you new craft. Oh! I forgot. In the late 50's & early 60's, I was a jump master with 101st ABN. I made a lot of jumps out of c-130's.
