January 2, 200719 yr :o Youzas! I wouldn't want to be under that when it lets go! It must weigh a bit. Good job on it though.
January 2, 200719 yr Don What I can see really like it pic is dark- could you lighten it up really want to see it. what size is it? Nice Ron
January 2, 200719 yr Looks like it was a little too close the that cieling rafter... is that a little burn mark just above the tallest candle??? I imagine people "in the olden days" lived under the constant threat of fire hazards... Nice work on the chandelier, i imagine you could make quite a large one with lots of scroll work. My neighbor collects candles, I've been trying to think of something to make for her other than a standard candle holder. Great idea! I gotta learn to forge weld first tho i think... ;-( L L
January 3, 200719 yr Author Ron, Here's the same pictures after being lightened. I hope you can see'um: As for size, you gotta look at it in realtion to the standard sized candles... it's not that big. Main ring is around 12", chain links are a little longer than 2". You can see that they hung it with 3 links unused, so it was intended to have more ceiling clearance... or shorter candles. _
