pkrankow Posted June 12, 2011 Share Posted June 12, 2011 I would drill a hole near the top to funnel dry sand in. Packing is not necessary. Put a bolt or pipe plug in to "seal" it. Have the feet big enough to put stakes through to anchor the stand permanent like, or provide better footing if you are on a soft surface.
