FlorianZ Posted May 5, 2011 Share Posted May 5, 2011 Hey Guys, today my 4. Knife is finished. Its a Kitchen Knife for me because my current Kitchen Knifes are very cheap. First, the Steel is 1.2842. Lenght: 26,5cm Blade Lenght= 16cm Depth = 3mm down to 0,2mm at the top Handle = Olea europea from a piece of Wood that i found in Italy. Hardness= The Knife is hardened by me in my Gas Forge and has a hardeness between 60 and 62 hrc I have a Thermometer in my Gasforge to reach the right Temperature for Hardening.
