chyancarrek
Just got home from raising a glass to the USMC's 235th birthday with one of my favorite people - A 30 year Marine who had a lot of influence on my younger years. So a heartfelt thanks to all of you folks here who have served (and are serving) in the United States Marine Corps!

HWHII
Happy Birthday from me too! Got a email from my son in Afganistan today and their unit ran a 48hr marathon carring there colors. He ran for 3 hrs in the middle of the night. After they did a division run to finish it off to celebrate.

medieval
It means more to me now (40+ years later) than it did then (when I got called a baby killer upon returning from VN). It has been a relief to find that the public realizes that we didn't make the policy, just answered the call.I sometime wonder how many would have answered the call in 1776?
