Jacob Tkalec
Essentially I re-purposed an old playhouse we had on the property from when I was a kid. The ceiling is a bit low, and I have to look out for the propane lamp I'm using.. but hey! It's indoors and pretty cozy. Problem is, I have no forge as you might be able to see in the pictures. That's coming (soon).
CurlyGeorge
Nice shop. Just make short items so that you don't hit anything overhead. LOL. Hey, at least it gets you out of the weather. :D
Jacob Tkalec
Nice shop. Just make short items so that you don't hit anything overhead. LOL. Hey, at least it gets you out of the weather. Yeah. I'm going to close off the windows so that I can get some heat going from the forge. Feels like it's going to be a cold winter. chyancarrek
What a great place to start Jacob! I've got a friend of mine who worked out of something quite a bit smaller than that (altho a bit taller). He had a gangbuster business making tongs working 6 or 8 hrs a day so yours should suit well for a hobby shop. Take pics as you go and keep us up to date! fciron
Looks fun. You might want to do something to hold that anvil down. You will need to open some windows to let in air if you get a forge. Oxygen depletion is the forgotten side of the carbon monoxide equation. Heck, how cold does it get in Georgia?
