May I ask why there was all that hammering, though? Some sort of exercise?

Last weekend I finally made a new fire rake to replace my first one. It was also my first project. It served me for a little over 3 years now. I was reminded to keep it so I can look back and remember where I started out. Good job!!! That is something to be proud of for sure!
