kburd
this is a project i did not to long ago. It was 14 guage stainless steel sheet that was flamed coloured and then completley textured with die blocks i made for my big blu. it is supposed to match the rock colors somewhat and look older but not rust all up in a year or two. let me tell you if you have never had the oppurtunity to texture a large sheet of stainless by yourself DONT! my arms and legs hurt bad from holding it and resting it and all the vibrating. but it all worked out in the end and the customer was very happy..... of course i didnt charge enough.................................... sorry no pics of the texture totally forgot to get some will try to get by and get some one day soon. Tim McCoy
A very interesting and different design element. I like the finish/patina job on the SS. How well does the cap/cover work??
kburd
the cap works well for the application. The whole project was more for looks than functionality
