monstermetal
I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed with a lack of paying work but no lack of work to do.. So I took a break today from doing other peoples stuff and played a bit... I made three pair of big tongs.. a 1 1/4 1 1/2 and 2" V bits...( the little ones are a pair of Grants for scale) These are pretty down and dirty... Made from 3/4 round bar, The reins are as good as I could get them in one heat My brother brought me some square aluminum drops and I thought I should make some coin bowls outta them... I like them, I got a friend who says he can mirror polish one... that should be fun....

monstermetal
Hot but probably not forging temp all the way through. I broke the cast iron shot put I was using to dish it on the last go. It had a big void in the center and collapsed
