pkrankow Posted June 26, 2010 Share Posted June 26, 2010 I have been planning to make some, but have not gotten the beeswax yet. If you lack a hotplate, melt the wax in a double boiler, a pot within a pot of water. Take the whole double boiler kit outside and finish the mixing (your DG may appreciate that too). The hot water will provide adequate heat for quite some time. Your DG may also appreciate you using a coffee can or paint can as the inner pot too instead of one of her good pots.
