mikeyg
Hi I'm a guy in New Zealand who has had an interest in making knifes and swords for many years. Have made a few knifes and am now starting to try some pattern welded stuff. Have made simple layered blades and want to make some specific patterns in the knifes now. Want to find out some more on contrasting steels and their makeup. Have limited resorces here in N.Z. Any suggestions welcome
Dizzerak
Welcome! Being a new guy myself, let me just say, if you tell what your limitations are, most of the people here are more then willing to give advice and help you "think outside the box". WE LOVE PICTURES. Hey thanks for that I will post a picture or two and in the next couple of weeks. One of my main problems is finding the types of steel in NZ that many guys on the site say they are using. Will post something more specific soon.
