That's super nice but its gonna burn away at the edges as the forge gets used.

That is very cool . I dig the design. You use plasma to cut out the frame?

I hope the ends are removable for installing the lining. Rather wild design!

No the ends were cut on an Amada laser that my buddy owns. The ends are removable. Here's a pic of the tube with the flat bar rings before welding. I'm gonna post all the picks on flickr as I go.
