Wife, daughter, and I moved from Goldthwaite back in '77. Kind of a toss up whick is closer...I think Balcones Forge in the Austin area will serve you best, at least I think it closer than the NTBA. But shoot, they have a bunch of good folks there too. My wife's folks owned the land 1 mile south of "THE Toddy House" on HWY.16. Her brother and s-i-l live there now. We, wife and I, lived in the house with the 'multi-colored roof'. Robert Womack, in Goldthwaite, has some blacksmith equipment...expensive.
