Drewry
Hello all, I have had a little experience pounding metal "mokume" I am now learning how to pound iron. I am just getting started. I just bought a used Johnson Gas forge. I have one set of tongs one hammer and a rr track temporary post anvil, lots of steel and little else......yet. I do have alot of the support equipment such as welders, grinders....etc. I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California between Sacramento, CA and Reno NV. David Einhorn
Welcome. Sounds like you are well equipped, although the Johnson Forge might consume a lot of fuel if you are only making something the size of a knife.
