Welcome to IFI Sam! I have a friend that has TN Walkers and always has a hard time finding someone to shoe them properly. I think they look kind of freaky on the high hoof when most of the horses around here are Quarter horses and they keep the hoof on the shot side. Sorry you were ill and had to give it up but you will find plenty of friends here to share your knowledge with. Looking forward to your input.

Thanks for the kind welcome everyone! Yeah UnicornForge, I am just up the road from you. You know, many a time I've driven west on the Lincoln highway from York toward Gettysburg. There are lots of antique shops on that road that look like a good place to find some old tools. Have you ever been in any of those shops? I never have. When I first started shoeing I had a barn in the Gettysburg area; now I have some friends in Hanover. Maybe we'll meet some day.
