A.S.T.
I finished this about a week ago . I am going to call it a camp knife because that is it's intended purpose. It's not real pretty to look at but is very functional. And I must have done something right as I chopped through a 2 x4 and can still shave the hair off my arm. Now for the info everybody wants. Overall length is 10" , blade length is 5 1/4" ,it is 1and 1/2 " at the handle. I still need lots of practice in the grinding department. Critique is expected. pkrankow
I like the angle of the handle to the cutting edge, I find that makes for a good vegetable/paring knife. Looks nice. Phil
Ecart
Until I get to 220 Grit and the blade actually starts to resemble something that will look good, I HATE grinding. But then again, it's not grinding for me, but hand sanding. Nice job on the knife. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Brasilikilt
If your helicopter were to crash crash in Siberia somewhere and that was the only knife you had with you.....you would be okay :-) Your knife has all the sturdy simple lines that a good using knife has. I say well done! Iain "a Kilted mountain man of sorts"
