Can anyone tell me if an arbour press is any of any use in a blacksmiths shop or art blacksmith shop? There is one on ebay. If so, would it need to come with some sort of press fittings, shapes? Do you have one? What do you use it for?

Not much use in a smithy. Its only arm powered. Used mainly to press bearings. They don't come with shape dies.

I now have a fly press but I used to use one to make collars.

In a word no. He is using the flywheel weight insted of arm power. Lot of mass plus leaverage.
