MastertheSword
I'm starting to do some metal working in Wisconsin. I'm interested in making various things but most I'm not ready for. I've done lots of wood working and I've done some metal work without heat. I'm looking for tips and info that will help me progress. Thanks for listening and I hope you can help
Finnr
Howdy. I am not too sure of smiths around La Crosse, but if you get up this way I'd be glad to lend a hand. I am near Farichild and Humbird North of Black River Falls. Finnr
Frosty
Welcome aboard, glad to have you. There's plenty here to help you get started, reading through the "Getting Started and Lessons in Blacksmithing" are two. They'll help you find, improvise and set up the tools and equipment you'll need and provide a series of lessons to help you develop the skills you'll need. Then there is the "Blueprints" section full of tools, equipment and projects with descriptions and directions used by smiths regularly. Then there is the fun option of talking to the gang.
