barnbarron
I hope that I'm doing this right. Anyway a big hello from east Texas, Wood county.. I'm Randy, 51yo, and I go by Barnbarron. I started using the forge and anvil to make knives. Its kinda addictive, huh. Anyways I've made quite a few knives, some damascus, and had started on some cable work. I just stumbled onto the site and liked what I seen. Yall keep on posting so I can learn something about real smithing. OK---THANKS Barnbarron
irnsrgn
Randy, a Good Smith learns something everyday, either from someone else, his own mistakes or just reading.
Thomas Dean
Howdy from Hallsville! (Harrison county, near Longview) Glad you came aboard and look forward to seeing what you have to say. I don't do blades (yet) but enjoy doing traditional, historical, and artistic work. There are a BUNCH of fantastic bladesmiths as well as blacksmiths in the Texarkana area and we meet each 3rd Sat. of the month. The web site is www.fourstatesironmunchers.com if you are interested in looking.
