  1. Did you see the Febtech hexagon forge from the same seller? It appears to show air slots in the burner, and unpainted shell (it looks heavily "inspired" by the Mr Volcano in some ways).
  2. I was just ogling some pretty nice cast cup x cup x fip brass & bronze reducing tees today. Pretty expensive at the big box store, but under $10 on Amazon, and hopefully nicer to work with than copper. They already have a smooth inlet - the caveat is that copper pipe ODs are only 1/8 over nominal, so it's not really much reduction.
  3. Sorry, should have been clearer - "they" were Harbison-Walker/HWI. And TDS being the technical datasheets. They've got the safety sheets freely available, though.
  4. Sadly their website is close to useless. You have to be a registered customer to see their TDSs. I've had decent luck searching through their 2005 refractory handbook (which briefly describes their products), and searching on Google for more info.
  5. FWIW Harbison-Walker seems to use calcium aluminate cement as the binder for their zircon castables.
