  1. Ok, so it looks like you guys are recommending 2 or 3 inches of K-O-wool and then coat it with Kast-O-Lite 30. I guess I'll give that a try and see how it turns out. Thanks for the help.
  2. I'm planning on making a propane forge, probably out of a propane cylinder or something similar. And just doing small stuff. It would be nice if I could just pour something and achieve a nice thick wall and not have to mess with wool.
  3. I'm starting on my first forge, and wondering if I can use a castable refractory by it's self, or do I need to use some kind of kaowool first?
