Hi All I am looking to make a tandoori oven from an old Victorian chimney pot made of clay and a nice old Victorian round air vent to use as the base of the grill for the coals to sit on and allow in airflow. Looks like the oven will get up to around 500 C and brass melts around 800 C. So the question is would that heat produce any toxic fumes? Am based in London Look forward to your reply. Thanks
