G,day all 56 year old boilermaker/welder wanting to learn craftsmanship,inspired again by two curve/tappered "S" holding this 130 plus year homes wall together it was hidden till 9 months behind a timber framed shed, that when they new there stuff!

Most of this is in my Trade, technique and tips is what I like, any newbie needs thanks all taken on board. LOL do tell?? after hours on the net I cant find out who TOMCO was , all I can get is 64 Kgs, as for the forge im open to the best type to run. Oh the Thunderbird it suites my smashed up 56 year old body lol I had a few hyperbikes till 4 yrs ago, long story was my own fault.

G,day all live in South Australia been in the steel industry,since 78, only got my first anvil last week and New years eve fabricated and cast a stand for it, the top 12mm plate has 10mm rods pre mig welded deep into the high strength concrete, I had been using a railway rail for the last few years mainly for fabricating etc, I am am still looking at making a forge yet,but you have to start somewhere anyway,Im looking forward to learning the craft of blacksmithing. hobbies are major home renos ,Tools and my Thunderbird riding with mates cheers all.
