what is the best college for learning blacksmithing?
Hi Raz, My name is Aislinn. I am also a 3rd year student at the American College of the Building Arts. As Mackenzie said, our professor Richard Guthrie is a top-notch smith and a great teacher. If you get a chance, come to an open house (or just call the school and get a tour anytime)or the smelt he mentioned. http://www.buildingartscollege.us/ Good luck on your search!

I just got this anvil and have a question
I highly advise AGAINST grinding or doing anything to the anvil, it has a pretty thin steel face and grinding or sanding with only make it thinner. just becouse your forging knives dose not mean you need a shinny ground face.
