  1. Hi Raz, My name is Aislinn. I am also a 3rd year student at the American College of the Building Arts. As Mackenzie said, our professor Richard Guthrie is a top-notch smith and a great teacher. If you get a chance, come to an open house (or just call the school and get a tour anytime)or the smelt he mentioned. http://www.buildingartscollege.us/ Good luck on your search!
  2. Thank you for all the comments! This pattern is based off of a riveting hammer I used while apprenticing in Colonial Williamsburg the last two summers. I am more than happy to make more of these hammers to sell. However, being a college student I have very limited time for extra projects. I will certainly make a few more as time permits and offer them for sale here. A Lewis
  3. You could always take a little "business trip" to Mumbai... Cool hammer though...
  4. I highly advise AGAINST grinding or doing anything to the anvil, it has a pretty thin steel face and grinding or sanding with only make it thinner. just becouse your forging knives dose not mean you need a shinny ground face.
  5. That's a cool looking handle How did you make the braid?
  6. That sure was fun! Gotta love a guy who gets a girl a vice for her birthday Mack's "Friend"
