Vice seized
in Vises
Does anyone have tips on un-seizing a bullet wilton vice?
-
Its definitely at least #390 I cannot even get it to budge from a deadlift. Its 36 long by 14.5 tall and 5.25 wide. I can’t find marks anywhere I think on the foot I see a little bit of numbers but im not entirely sure

Its after 1908. They started to put England after 1908.

Sweet I was thinking one of those 2. Where would the markings be at?

Its made after 1908. You can tell by the stamp. They added “England” after 1908.

its a beast anvil. Im kinda sad I let her go. Glad it went in good hands.

Looks pretty decent. I wanna find the manufacturer and just buy it directly and have them ship it to Las Vegas NV.

Do you have a website link? I might buy one and ill let you guys know how it is.

If you get one casted make it from 8620. That steel hardeneds well and its really strong. Im no expert though just my opinion. And I personally would do a german style anvil. 2 horns is very helpful while smithing.
