    I own the 150lb tfs blacksmith anvil. I'm pleased, by far worlds of difference from the vulcan I was using before. Face is hard, waist is thick, rebound is 85-90%. Solid anvil.

    Its been sold, and tomorrow will be replaced by a brand new #150 tfs blacksmith anvil.

    Hey guys, I've got a 1968 #100 vulcan. It's pristine. No edge chipping. This was a storage unit queen haha. However, I don't know if it will hold up in the long run. Curious as to whether to stick with the vulcan, or go to a #150 tfs blacksmith anvil. Or any other recommendations.

    For the simple reason of turning mild steel into higher carbon steel, ide like to know how to carburize iron and steel, i'll be making tools and knives and such
