  1. Oh sorry guys! I'm from israel and i don't have it yet. Came here to see if it's worth anything. It is 60 kg not pounds. And the bk is australian but it's lighter. Thanks a lotfor the replies
  2. what hedgerow? and thanks :) the spine is as forged :)
  3. i think it would really be challenging to grind that big of a radius. gotta have good support for the blade and really stable hands.
  4. just 9" that's what i have right now... planing on getting a curved platen with 3'-4' diameter
  5. Forged form 52100 bearings. the single beveled one was polished and sharpened on japanese waterstones to a mirror finish.
  6. E.F Thumann, there is no clutch in the mechanism. i should post a short video on it. it's pretty interesting.
  7. hmmm it's hard to explain. i need to take a picture of it. there isn't an automatic oiler, it has grease nipples everywhere but i oil it with oil for moving parts in machines like lathes and mills.
  8. A couple of months ago i posted a thread here about a 30Kg russian power hammer with a synchronization problem. it's now working pretty well and i got just a little more tweaking to do. really cool mechanism, haven't seen anything like it on any other power hammer. check it out.
  9. thanks guys! that's not a bbq fork :) way too big - that's for a fireplace, i made that knife from a bearing with a local master called "Shlomo Erel". Shlomo had been to a lot of international blacksmithing competitions. it's not homade micarta its made from "wings" from a vacum pumps :P cool material.
  10. How did i forget? I'm a bladesmith and learning the fundementals of blacksmithing from a local master. here are some of my recent works:
  11. Judson Yaggy you were right! there was something sticky! after cleaning the ram's guide it works like a beast.
  12. I forgot to mention that while it goes mad and giving realy strong blows the ram actually hits the top part...
  13. when it "misbehaves" it does hit you back to the leg.. : every part is original... it has grease nipples everywhere so we greased it a lot.
  14. thanks guys! i'm going to renew the springs and see if that will help. i'm pretty sure it will. i dont think the springs should be facing almost 90 degrees to the ground.
