  1. Voted about a week ago but dang, no nifty stickers here . . . mail-in ballot .

I can proudly say, I've never missed a vote since I turned 18 back in '75
( One of the benefits of never having moved outta the county I was born in!)

  2. Good on ya for donating your time and talents Tireif! Great looking stakes!

If it weren't for volunteers at historic sites, some of them would be closed and lost.

I did five years at the Ft. Vancouver National Historic Site and if it weren't for the volunteers, it would be just another collection of dead buildings with static displays.

So a hearty second to Curly . . . Keep on volunteering!!
  3. We've always called them shed-roof's.

"He shed-roofed a spot on his shop to park his tractor", "I shed-roofed a cover for the BBQ" etc.

Whatever you label them, call it dry and at least outta the weather.
Some sort o' minimal siding would be good for S. OR weather. That rain knows how to work it's way into even the driest buildings.

How's the settling in process going?

  4. Really Nice Fe!

I love the shot from the back - any chance you could clean up that weld area?

The combo of positive and negative spaces from that view are REALLY nice but that weld breaks up the transition a bit sad.gif

Make sure to take pics of that Continental kit when it's finished!

  5. Nice job Glenn!

I'll admit - I've been on the grabbin' end of one o' those so many times it makes me shiver looking at it (actually I gave up using hooks decades ago and just grab strings now) but if I need another one, I'll look you up to make it!
