I'm new to smithing and looking for a place and opportunity to learn, is there any place or person in or near KY that offers such a thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have put the gear train back together, and have zero coast, the gears turn free with minimal noise! any Ideas? Before I could get 2 revolutions after releasing the handle?

I'm new to smithing and have heard several horror stories and several praises of cast anvils, besides the harbor freight anvils and ebay anvils, what are some bad and good ones to lookout for? All help is appreciated

During a rebuild of blower that I wound up with, I noticed there were no red thrust/wear shims/spacers whatever they are like in my recent TIGER blower rebuild. This blower was cobbled together and in rough shape, due to the noisy gear train I was wondering if I was lacking something. Any and all help would really be greatly appreciated.

I wound up paying $100 bucks for it, runs great ! Coulda bought 5 of them for that back in the dayLOL.........

I recently picked up a TIGER blower and would like find the manufacture date of it, It's one of the blowers with no numbers on the casting whatsoever, although it does have a serial # on the bottom of the gear box, I was hoping someone would have some info on serial # 's....Thanks
