No - I didn't get the anvil - he wouldn't part with it, it was a good conversation starter at the meeting.

You did a very nice job on making a 3-D version of a drawing!!!!

Beth - I'm glad your getting some use of the folding corkscrew :) And I'm glad I could spread a little blacksmithing to the UK. Use in moderation!!! - Jeremy

Nice! I like it for it's simplicity. You split one piece then cut it in two different places to get the offset, didn't you?
- Yes Brian - On the middle parts - I started with 18" of 1/4 x 3/4" stock - hot split for 16" then trimmed off approximtely 9-1/4" on the 1 leg and shaped as seen. The size of the grille is for a entry door window, the grille is 13" x 23" O.D. The outside frame is 1/4" x 1-1/4" flat stock. - JK

The standoffs are pcs of 1/2" sqaure chiseled on all 4 sides lengthwise and are 1-3/4" long tig welded to the back of the collars and to the mounting plate. Also, the picture is deceiving - they are both 18" long. Thanks - JK
