Thank you CurlyGeorge and Beth. :)

Since my first cowboy hat turned out ok, I decided to make two more for my two sons.
One I made into a bottle opener for my youngest ( the bottle opener was his idea ).
The second I made into a belt buckle for my eldest ( the buckle was my wife's idea).
These are a little larger that my first. 3-1/2" in diameter, 1/8" thick.
Comments and cretiques welcome. Thanks for looking.

It's a good start. Have you finished this yet? How did it turn out?
Mitch -
Very nice!

Let me be the first to say WOW! That's a beautiful knife. I really like the pattern in the steel. Nice lines and the selection of materials works well together. Thanks for posting.

Nice forge! Now you're really hooked. It would be worth your time to add an idler valve. Over time, I'm sure it pays for itself.
Keep us posted on how you do & what you make.

Thank you all for the nice comments. Much appreciated.

Thank you for the comments. It started out like a traditional Ulu. I decided to change it a little. I liked the rounded corners better.

Thank you CurlyGeorge. Yea, the material was a bit thick for this. It's 1/8" thick. I liked it though. I didn't have to worry so much
about punching through.

Thanks! It started out at 3" in diameter. I'm definitely going to have to make more. :)

Greetings. I haven't posted in a while. I just finished my first Ulu shaped knife.
It is made from a concrete cutting blade. Has red oak handle and brass pins.
I forgot to get exact measurements. The oal is approx 8" long. It still needs some
more polishing and sharpening. Critiques and comments welcome. Thanks for looking.
( crossing my fingers the upload works )

Very nice! It's always good to have connections. I have a 100# Fisher. I love it. I would love to find a larger one.
Congrats! Enjoy.

I like it! Should be easy to see from the air.
