They would be so touched mate you nailed it but sounds like there's a fair bit more work on the install but it will all be worth it when the last tacs done, spiders I will allow to call it home, rust adds character but if anyone vandalizes this peice i will personally drive out there and kick some ass,let us know when she's installed I'm gonna bring the wife & kiddies out to see it in person.

Ah yes vb tallies are the best I have acquired the vb stubby fridge you press the vb symbol and it plays the vb tune and spits out a beer it's just a pity it keeps on emptying and I have to pay for more . So 500 600 kgs ya reckon that's hefty how ya gonna transport her and will it be set in concrete before or after transport?

I don't have a torch unfortunately but it's a good idea ,I have it mounted on a stump at the moment and I have a small crane rail standing upright fixed in next to the train rail I have ground one side of the rail foot for a fuller and the other side for a hot cut point that has helped speed up production alot I will look into your ideas cheers for your time wroughton

Thanks edge yeah it's offset a bit it was my first go at drifting ,first had to make a drift then trying to use it on my rail track anvil with no hardie hole to drift it through was a pain but I got there, I can't wait till I get a proper anvil I feel like this ones holdin me back a bit but it will have to do for now.

Thanks all for the kind words ,I also have a question , when I quenched the blade (vegetable oil) and pulled it out i found it had also etched the blade like left topography the crud from the quench was only stuck on the darker section it sanded off after heat treating but still has the topography so I only had it in the vinegar for an hour or so to darken back up ,just wondering if this happens sometimes or I had it too hot or my oils just special
Cheers
