Applying wax to finished pieces
Hey guys,I know that many in the forum apply beeswax to finished pieces. My question is how is it applied? Is it brushed on? Do you melt the wax and put the piece in it? Do you rub it on when the piece still has some heat to it? Any help would be great.

Help with making a hot punch
I'm trying to make a hot punch. I made one out of a piece of half inch rebar. How does the forum temper and heat treat them? The first time I tried to use it the point deformed. Any advice would be great.

Corkscrew
Hey guys, Is it possible to make a corkscrew end for my wall hooks? I have a guy wanting a couple to hold laterns but he wants to screw them into a tree but take them back out when he's done. Do I have to do a corkscrew or can I make something else that's removable? Any advice or design tips would be great.

Keeping that original look without painting
Hey guys, I have a question. What kind of oil do you put on the finished product to keep it corrosion resistant without painting it. I made a hook over the weekend and put a light coat of gun oil on it. It rained last night and you guessed it....it has rusted and looks like hell. What does the forum use and where can I get it? I want that steel look and I don't want to cover it up with paint. Any help and advice would be appreciated.
