I would appreciate knowing how you worked the rasps into shape...torch/grind, forged etc.. These things are pretty brittle, I want to build some spurs but am not sure the best way (least labor) to cut the rasps to width, shape the shank etc. A friend who hasn't tried it suggested maybe using a cutting disc on a hand grinder. Any advice appreciated. I am a shoer by trade. Thanks!
