Smiths, Sad news. One of our longtime members, Hardy Todd passed away at his home yesterday afternoon. Hardy had been very active in our organization. He was currently the Northwest Chapter Steward. Hardy's funeral services will be this Friday, 1 November at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville. Visitation is at 1pm and the funeral at 2pm. Burial following at the Old Alabam Cemetery on HWY 127 just north of US 412. I will ring the anvil in his honor.

According to our newsletter, there are NO meetings scheduled as of this date for July. Not official, but I assume COVID-19 is the reason. The core membership for the NW and Central Chapters are located in current "hotspots" in Arkansas. PM me for any questions.

Note: With COVID-19 still an issue with gatherings, attendance at BOA meetings should be made with the appropriate guidelines in mind, namely social distancing, masks recommended, possibly bring your own lunch and tools if wanting to do any forging or other work.

BOA April, 2020 meetings; dates and locations: NW Chapter, Location changed to Springdale, AR, April 11. The meeting there may be cancelled due to developments with Covid-19. Central Chapter, no info on that chapter, but again, since it's in a coronavirus hotspot, I doubt very seriously there will be an April meeting.
