travis_towle
Hello - I am a restoration artist of antique gas pumps. For years now I and others like me have been using standard 5/16 round bar stock for holding down the top glass cylinders on our gas pumps. We just tap threads on both ends and use an acorn nut on the top. But this method is NOT correct. The original rods that the pumps used were like real long bolts / rivets
