Greetings I have a Hay -BUDDEN ANVIL STAMPED 101 AT THE BOTTOM WHICH I ASSUME MEANS IT IS A 101 LB ANVIL AND 7478 STAMPED ON THE BASE UNDER THE HORN WHICH I UNDERSTAND IS THE SERIAL NUMBER. Is there any way to verify the date of this anvil without purchasing the American Anvil Book. I am looking to possibly sell or trade but a definite year of manf. would be very helpful.
