Hi All,

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I’m considering a tire hammer or maybe a single blow hammer for my small garage shop. Does anyone have these on skids? If so, what does that look like? I’m not sure if I’ll be able to reinforce my slab, so I’m looking for alternatives. Thanks!

    Welcome aboard Switters, glad to have you. If you put your general location in the header you'll have a much better chance of meeting up with members living within visiting distance. Lots of things have a strong regional component too.

    Make a wide foot for it. A piece of 3/8" x 24" x 36" steel plate bolted to the foot should distribute the weight and hammer energy more than enough.
